Why Did It Take Me So Long to Switch to Cloth Wipes?
Spoiler alert: They’re easier than you think!
I don’t know why, but it took me ages to finally switch to Reusable Cloth Wipes. I was a cloth nappy mum from really early on with my eldest (who’s now 10!), but cloth wipes? They just felt like too much effort.
Then I finally gave them a go… and instantly wondered what I’d been waiting for! 🙈
If You're Already Using Cloth Nappies...
Cloth wipes are honestly a no-brainer. You’re already doing the washing - just wipe, rinse, and pop them into your dry pail with your nappies. That’s it!
No fancy prep needed. Just wet the wipe before use with warm or cool water, and you’re good to go.
Not Using Cloth Nappies? You Can Still Use Cloth Wipes!
Even if you’re using disposables, cloth wipes can still make a big difference. Here’s how:
-
If they touch poo → Give them a quick pre-wash on their own, then you can wash them with clothes or towels.
-
If they’re just wet from wee → Just pop them in with your regular laundry.
